Such a timely and heartfelt creation! You're right about the gravitas, which is exactly what this needs. "Cornucopias/of torn utopias" is a great image. It is hard to feel hopeful at this time, but I hope that years from now, this all leads to some good. The civil rights and anti-Vietnam war demonstrations eventually produced real, important change. I hope this does as well.

This is greatly apt. I really enjoyed the recorded reading. The sucked in breath of air before certain words definitely added to the mood of this piece.
