since it's my birthday weekend, i dragged matthew to see "resident evil: retribution", and risked food poisoning, at the movie tavern. the movie was not worth the risk. i knew it wouldn't be. but it's resident evil. that game scared the bejesus out of me as a kid. i'll continue to fork out my $8.50 for future films, i can't help it ( Read more... )

so, it looks like we're going to cancun in april 2013. i never thought i'd say that. matthew isn't very happy about it either.

2013 was supposed to be finland not cancun! oh well, nordic country, we'll meet soon enough, i promise.

reason #47 on why i prefer to buy my clothes online: fitting rooms always smell like pee.  what kind of a cochina decides that it is acceptable to pee in there?!

although i should look on the bright side, at least it didn't smell like poop.

to my husband: i'm sorry the girl in front of us at the mountain goats show kept farting. that's what i get for talking about farts earlier in the day.

no more fart talk before spending time in a small spaces with strangers.

tonight, we will go see the mountain goats.

i like that i just found a link called "art for small hands" in our bookmarks.  

every time i think of philadelphia, i think of 2001 (?) and how i was the coldest i've ever been in my entire life while waiting in line outside a club to see propagandhi.  that cold haunts me to this day.  i also think of the get up kids circa "something to write home about".  i listened to this record over and over on the plane ride to philly.   ( Read more... )
