Considering

It seems to me that most of the world blames me for what nature has decided to deem a necessary part of existence. It also seems to me that nobody likes me very much.

Did I hurt your feelings?

Death has feelings too.

That strikes me as highly inefficient.

Yeah well. I'm just getting used to them, so give me a break.

No one likes bad news. And when you're around, it's usually bad news. Personally, though? You seem like a nice enough Death. You just have a bad agent.

P.S. We're having a party tomorrow. If you *AREN'T WORKING*, try and stop by.

I like you. But, I'm used to you being around. Humans think death is personal, it's not. It happens to us all, even the wisest person, strongest person, richest person or most beautiful will die.

Secretly, each human believes that it won't happen to *them* or the people they love.

This is much food for thought, sir.

I'm glad that there's someone out there who understands.

Besides, your awful handy to have round with morons one don't like and want to have them sleep with the fishes.

*quietly* Who blames you? Not me.
Sometimes what you may mean...worries me, but you were a
friend to me and Kennedy last year. I haven't forgotten that.

I can understand worry, but there seems to be a trend of general dislike.

*hesitates, then hugs him*
I think it's more that...people hate being powerless. If there's someone they can yell at or lash out at, it means they're not as stuck with it, or they can feel that way.

Accepting the inevitable is something a lot of people just won't do well. *sad little smile*

Thank you for the hug. I appreciate it a lot. I don't get a lot of those.
