[Road watches the dream with interest and licks the lollipop in her hand. A small smile is playing on her lips and after the dream has ended, she speaks.]
theEND does look like a lot of fun. Who's Eureka though?
I'll be going out soon. Do you want me to buy some sweets or jam while I'm at it?
[ooc: By the way, since Dominic got IC permission from Akihiko when Anemone arrived, feel free to sign her up for a room at Dusk, where we'll just assume she's been living all this time. /o/]
[... huh. It's a disturbing dream, but then, he's not one to pin a disturbed psyche on a simple truth like that.
......... the little creature swallowing him, however metaphysically, still gave him pause. He's wide-eyed by the end of the dream, and strangely thoughtful.]
That's a good question, actually. Isn't a copy already an original?
[He considers this. What would be the best way to explain...?]
I could use a cupcake as an example. You see, a baker makes this cupcake. [Raises a finger. One.] And he thinks that this cupcake is great, and so he makes a copy of that cupcake that's just like it. [The finger then becomes two.]
But when you go into the bakery, you don't ask for the 'original' cupcake, or the 'copy' cupcake. You just ask for a cupcake. [Hmm.] In that case, both cupcakes fulfill that criteria.
So you can say that the 'copy' cupcake isn't a copy. It's an original -- a cupcake all on its own, separate from the first cupcake.

Just another reminder of the differences in memory, he supposes.
As uncomfortable as he is with the rest of the dream, it's nothing he wasn't really expecting from her.]
