Is anyone planning on going to Crimson Moon on St. Paddy's day to hear Emerald Rose?

Robert and I are thinking about making the drive up and want to know if any of the cool kids will be there.

The surgery went well and  Robert is home.  He's in a lot of pain, but he's also drooling in oxycodone la la land so he doesn't really care about the pain...at least for now.  I'm going to try to convince him to stay there for at least a couple of days until the worst of the pain has past.  Thank you all for the prayers, notes, emails, well wishes ( Read more... )

Way cool.  I don't want to erase my phone messages now.

Female General Breaks 'Brass Ceiling'

The military's highest glass ceiling was finally shattered today, as Army Gen. Ann Dunwoody became America's first female four-star general.

R and I went to vote at 10:30am. We waited for an hour and a half. Not too bad. The church ladies we selling coffee and muffins for a buck a piece. Not too bad. I got to see my former husband's name on the same ballot with the presidential contenders and got to vote for him. Way effing cool!!!!

M in midtown is having some car difficulties.  It may get resolved, it may not.  (Energy out there for resolved!)  Just in case it doesn't, we're working on a Plan B.  Can anyone give M a lift and/or take her home?
