Well, no wonder the law passed.

P.S. I told Dan to bring you some leftover tomato-basil soup. Assuming he hasn't forgotten, enjoy! :D

And DAMN! That was good.
Y'know, I really have never liked any tomato-based soup.
That was magnificent.
Thank you, again, Sweetheart.

I've never been too fond of tomato soup either. I guess I've managed to do something with my soup to get around most people's aversions. :)

I haven't been to Beth's in ages! It was like a more polite Hurricane when I last went there oh-so-many-years ago. Of course, it wasn't very difficult to be more polite than the Hurricane. *shrug*

Yeah, the section by the grill is now non-smoking. (how counter-productive is THAT?) and the DO have decaf now... scariness.

I don't know who it happened to, I wasn't even there, but I'll never forget the story of the waitress coming over and demanding "all right, which one of you mutants ordered decaf?!"

Ah yes.... wiccanbeauty November 11 2005, 04:53:09 UTC
I remember Beths at 3 am after a long night at the Fenix (the original) I seem to remember our waitress (Tadpole she went by) taking the order of our stage manager by cell phone...I believe her words were..."what the hell do you want?!"
Ah...good times.......

By the by....CONGRATS ON THE JOB!

And....I thought you quit smoking!?

I remember a particular night going to Beth's after a night with you, Michelle, and her cop at the Catwalk.
Thanks for the congrats. It's nice being employed again.
And, well, no, I've not quit smoking. I've tryed (apparently not hard enough.) But the thing is, even if I didn't smoke I'd have the same opinion on the subject. Nothing to do with my irritation about being relegated to second-class-citizen because of an addiction I've acquired, but because of the effect the law has on proprietors of bars and restaurants. I would imagine the instances of bill-ditching will go up, now, what with the ready-made escape: "I'm gonna run outside, 25 feet away from the front door, where you likely won't be able to see me, and have a smoke."

ah, that's funny. good point, I hadn't even thought of that. But yeah, I'll bet bill-ditching will go up.
