Marie and I decided we'd make saag paneer tonight. Since the paneer recipe I had called for it to set up overnight, I made it ahead of time. I didn't get as much curd out of the milk as I thought I would, but I wasn't terribly discouraged about that. The discouraging part came when I deep-fried it; the results are shown below:

Let me know how it works with ricotta. That sounds like it would be easier.
Oh, and Tuesday night might work. So would Wednesday. Or we could each bring a date and take advantage of Cheap Date Night at the BLB next Monday -- I think it's about twenty per couple for food, wine, and bowling. I think. I can check. (It's every Monday, really, but tonight is sort of short notice.)

Hmm. Tonight, next Monday, and Wednesday are all shot. Is Tuesday still good? :-)

I was surprised to see you post in the hopkinshigh community the other day, by the by.

I do have a few recipes for paneer (including a ricotta-based one), should you feel like trying another recipe.
