A Trance with Dragons
Getting far too excited about picking up the "long awaited" (even though I only had to wait 3 years) release of ADWD. I mentioned I was going to be picking up a long awaited fantasy book tomorrow and he said "A dance with dragons"? Enjai and Woogle vs the Shed (of dread) tree
We were told over a month ago by our landlady that the "tree in the shed needs to be removed ASAP" and decided the weather was ok this morning to tackle the beast. Fleet Foxes gig @ hammersmith apollo
I was a bit worried turning up to this one as a friend had seen them at the same venue two days ago and had complained about the vocals being completed drowned out by the music. It's been a busy week. There was the usual getting back up to speed at work after two week's absence (fortunately the flies survived), then there was the living room being painted (spent the weekend high off fumes) and on top of that there was the Russell Howard "good news" recording and the "death from above 1979" gig.
