THIS is funny.

today i worked my biggest gig yet. i took photos for the dave matthews band. maybe you'll see them on their website soon. they might get published in Entertainment Weekly too, if everything works out right. whee. fame, fame, famous, here I come.

My Nikon D70 died on me a few days ago, but luckily it is still covered by its 1-year warranty. So I've been shooting film for all my assignments this week. I have a reflex to flip the camera over and look at the back after almost every shot though. It pains me everytime I see just a black plastic back staring back up at me. No LCD screen. Michelle is still in Florida. Her dad had a stroke one week ago. He is still not able to walk or talk, but looks like he'll be starting rehab relatively soon. It has made me think about a lot of things. I'll write about them sometime.

I am so flattered. Today someone from Mississippi, J. Cardinell (a man or a woman, I'm not sure), emailed me to ask me if s/he could be my apprentice/assistant/intern.
