Enming, if you're interested in being a straight-leg, go for it. The more time I spend here at AIT, the more I want to try for something else even more challenging. I've been playing with the idea of going to the Special Forces Qualificaiton Course and seeing if I can hang with the elite. Not yet, though, since you have to be at least an E-4, but sometime in the future. We're in the military, we might as well try to be the best--and a Marine infantry officer is pretty high up there. You never know what your limits are until you throw yourself wholly into something. A guaranteed challenge, which I have confidence you will meet.

As a Marine I could vouch on what your saying in the best branch of service. The stories I have from boot camp to being the security at Wango Tango. Being a Marine is a one of a kind experience. I'm sure any service has their stories but the depth you get from a Marine is the best. You know about the brotherhood like the Semper Fi and once a Marine always a Marine. As a Marine I have to say I'm much more motivated and just a better person. I just couldn't see my self any less of a service because I know if I die tommorow I know I've served with the best. Whether or not you could be a Marine Corps officer is up to you but I respect my officers with the best respect of all. I look at them with envy and respect and thats why I know you'll make it as an officer. I give you that respect and authority that I know you'll make it. Its not a matter as if your going to make it Enming, its a matter of when. I know you have the same determination as I did in boot camp and trust me I had one of the roughest time in boot camp, just ask. I know you ( ... )
