i'm disappointed and a bit angry that NBC Channel 4
pulled The Book of Daniel, a show that has come under fire
from none other than our beloved American Family Association.
the AFA perhaps first gained notoriety due to its strident
boycott of the series NYPD Blue a few years back.

I wanted to watch that. I can't believe it got pulled! I didn't see the pilot. It sounds like it would be a show I would like based on what you've said.

I wonder what the AFA thought about Joan of Arcadia when it was on.

How interesting. Thank you for writing this, as it's really interesting, esp. since I am not familiar with the Book of Daniel. I'm sorry they pulled it. That's lame.

I read some more on this tonight. Other stations that dropped/refused to air the show etc.
Who are these people? yeach.
I mean, If you have an insatiable need to boycott TV, couldn't you start with Charmed?

On the topic of "portrayals of Jesus", I've been meaning to point this one out to you for a while. You've probably seen the DVD box, for this CBS Mini-Series but it took me forever to figure out who that familiar Jesus was.
