After years of creeping, knowing more than I should about near perfect strangers, I feel the need to contribute.

After years of Facebook-ing, and not Journal-ing, and keeping my thoughts to myself in general, it does feel a little strange to be honest here.

Do you want to know what I've had for dinner? I'd guess not.

I'm working on a documentary about the residential school system in Canada and am constantly shocked that so few people have any idea that the schools even existed.

Back at work. I don't think I've ever stopped working, but for some reason it's nice to be back at work.

Channeling a little Karen O. But who can blame me?

Strange to find myself eating a cupcake, after so many years, because when's the last time I've had a cupcake, really.
Cupcake, check. Vodka, check. Cigarettes, check. Confusion, check.

I'm beginning to think that it's time to do this again.
