Socks!

You could say that these aren't the most awesome socks you've ever seen in your life, but you'd be lying.

Made 'em with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock yarn and size 2 needles, based on the Universal Toe-Up Sock Formula. They took so long to make that I'm now afraid to actually put them on with shoes and wear them out of the house!

Ass-socks are usually called underpants. I do know the difference.

I am totally in awe of your ability! If I knew how to knit funky knee socks, I think it'd be totally worth it, as I blow part of my annual budget at Target each year on such a thing.

The yarn cost about $20, so Target's probably the better deal. Unless you have a great desire to spend several months knitting and each, ripping it apart, and knitting another inch. For the sheer entertainment of it, it's worth it.

Although, if you use synthetic fibers, the yarn is way cheaper.
