My grandfather, on my mother's side, is in the hospital. With one problem after another. What I keep hearing is that they think he'll be fine. It was just a valve problem with his heart, easy enough to put a stint in and fix it these days. Oh, and the polyp he had fixed a few years ago seems to be back. And he's got a new bleeding ulcer. Just was watching "Whose line is it anyway" with a guest star of Richard Simmons. I don't think I've ever been so horrified in my life. It was just all kinds of train-wreck. I'd say try to find it online, but seriously, just don't. Ever. If you watch the show and it turns out to be that one, just turn it off then and there.

My brain
So I'm sitting here, mostly being moral support for taxes. As I'm useless, especially when it comes to money. It's weird. I can do the math. But once it is attached to my own life, I get all squirrelly. I'm not even sure why, it doesn't make sense. I mean, sure it's a stressful thing, but nowhere near the degree to which I react. So does anyone out there actually know what I mean if I say "can't-focus-blue" in regards to LED Christmas lights? I often wonder if I'm weird that I can't really see anything but a blur around a certain blue light, or if it's a common thing. I know of a few others who know exactly what I'm talking about (

In pretty much any situation, I tend to feel that I'm a kid who is trying really really hard to fit in with the adults, but will never, ever manage.
