Music

People say that our sense of smell is strongly linked with our memory. For me, it's not my sense of smell - it's my sense of hearing.

Specifically, music. )

Alas, I have been feeling the same way. The only music that doesn't annoy me is new, and I just don't have the patience or funds to buy all new music. I play the shuffle on my ipod and skip, skip, skip for ages. I used to make sure I had a soundtrack for my whole life, and it really kept me going. I miss that :/ ::hugs::

Or! It's time to purge your ipod and download all new music to create a new life soundtrack. ;D

I had to think long and hard over whether I wanted to do this, since I made a similar venture last year to no response, but what the hell. It's Chiara! and I remember that Wayfinder summer that I spent with you, discussing the non-butterfly and giving all sorts of ridiculous nicknames to everyone. Like L and Food Item and and and.

I'm impressed you remember all that. I remember how profusely I sweated game night of New Moon, and all the glitter I used to wear, and being the only one to bring a bathrobe to camp, and Justy. And Dorian! I don't even remember what nicknames we gave those two, though.

Ha, yes, Dorian. I saw him recently and, as I am extremely gullible, he convinced me he was a triplet. He is dead to me now. Sort of.

How are you?

Dorian was awesome. I remember being so sad he had a girlfriend.

Man, Wayfinder seems like such a long time ago. Which it is - I'm 18 now.

The reason I didn't comment back to you was that Wayfinder, and Woodstock, while I had a lot of wonderful times there, I also had some really heartbreaking times. I wasn't sure I was ready to remember them again.

So yeah, it wasn't personal at all, and I do appreciate that you tried again. :)

I! Am pretty good. I got my GED in April, and am going to go into business as a tarot reader. How are you? You're 17 now, aren't you?
