I have recently been re-watching The X-Files. I had forgotten how good it was; I am even enjoying the very 90s vibe, which I only recognize in retrospect. I keep giggling at the amazing amount of synthesizer in the background music.

In my dream last night, I was the mastermind of a plot to use an insider to acquire all the winning lotto tickets, then create a nuclear holocaust to cover it up. And it worked.

I am now in Spokane, having driven 1500 miles, alone, over the last three days. I've done this before in my old car, and although I enjoyed the alone time, it had been very difficult. My new car has almost eliminated the hardships, leaving my favorite parts to stand out ( Read more... )

I just entered two bills into Where's George? that I already entered...four years ago. They somehow made it through two moves in that time without being spent. Where have they been?

I've gotten to the point where the only things in my fridge are milk, bread, cheese, and butter. I've been eating instant oatmeal for dinner for weeks, and I ran out of cereal yesterday so now I'm eating the oatmeal for breakfast. I find the eagerness of cats very amusing. Recently I have started mixing my cat's dry food with wet food, and she is going nuts. The thing is, it takes time to scoop out a portion of the can, store the rest, crush her dry food (she's having trouble digesting and eating as she gets sicker - hence the switch to wet food in the first place) and mix ( Read more... )
