I usually get a bad cold in the fall and spring - part of being a teacher. I rarely need to take a day off for these because they are more annoying than debilitating and then they're over in 7-10 days. Ugh, I just had that horrible infinite wakeup loop dream. I fell asleep reading in my easy chair and then kept dreaming that I woke up with the book still in my hands, tried to get up, found I was still asleep, woke up with the book in my hands...this happened so many times I was starting to panic. This year I managed 105 books, mostly due to the multitasking power of audiobooks. 39 of those 105 books were "read" while doing other things.

Okay,so it was only wisdom teeth removal surgery, but still..I just finished my first ever surgery! I was nervous going in, but the dental assistants were really nice and put me at ease. It's been a long time since I had a dream that made me yell and wake myself up. This one was short; basically there were rattle snakes everywhere, one actually jumped at my face like in a bad movie, I threw my left arm out and yelled, then woke up.
