Dave's mirror self is getting lost in the crowd...and probably tripping over some people during the process. His shades are not shielding his eyes, not hiding them away like his real self. They are resting on top of his head, though. Mirror Dave's red eyes flicker this way and that through the crowd and over to the playing field. He's still unsure of what he thinks of the prize for if the white side wins.

"It's cool, really. Your mirror doesn't giggle or anythin' like that."

She just makes sure he doesn't trip over thin air.

[ironlass]

"Sorry! It's just.." How does she put this?

"I'm not used to seeing you make faces! I mean, Dave. The real one. But, you look just like him so it's like he is making the faces and he never does. At least I don't think so! He's only been here for a little bit though..."

And there she goes, speed talking again.

"Nah, I understand. Dave doesn't normally express himself. He hides things."

The mirror shrugs, not minding it too much. Why does his real self have to be such an unfeeling bitch sometimes, god?

She never thought of Dave as hiding things. More like he chose not to show anything because of some silly cool kid creed that he followed.

"Si! He is sooo deadpan sometimes."

"Must be hard to deal with sometimes."

Where is Mirror Jade goddamn? Did she get lost or something?

"By the way, you haven't seen your mirror self around have you?"

[ironlass]

"A little! I would ask him about stuff but I know he probably wouldn't tell me anything." Jeez Dave she thought you guys were friends.

Sorry mirror Jade is in the middle of a staring contest with the real Dave please leave a message after the beep. Beep.

"No. I've never seen her before actually! What is she like?"

[knightinreverse]

"It's how he is." Thanks to Bro. Yes, he might be a bit resentful of the older Strider.

"An insomniac. She's kinda like if you and my real self switched places."

[ironlass]

"Really? Does that mean I'm a cool kid on the mirror side?" Wow! Her mirror self is living her dream. That kind of isn't fair, but it's still interesting to hear about.

"..Then I guess you must feel weird talking to me if you're used to her, huh?" Because derp derp derp derp.

[knightinreverse]

"She thinks she is, at least."

Another chuckle.

"Nah, actually. It's nice to talk to somebody not quite as grumpy." His feet then take this time to remind him how long he's been standing on them. "Wanna find some place to sit for a while?"

[ironlass]

"Is she not really one then?" That's kind of disappointing..

"Si!" She will answer everything with this now. For real. "Hehe, I feel like a bad host now! Since you are technically a guest of the real side." Jade is used to dragging Dave everywhere, but since this isn't really him she refrains from grabbing his arm.

"Where do you feel like sitting?"

[knightinreverse]

"She's not Real Dave cool, we'll put it like that." Man, why does he not like it when she's disappointed?

"Don't worry about it." He takes another look around before finding an empty seat.

"Over there looks good." And Dave sets off, making sure Jade follows him.

Not even two steps in and already his klutz-prone feet are tripping over somebody else.

"So she is not ironically cool. Just cool." That sounds much better to her.

"Okay, that looks good." And she does start to following him, wondering how long this event would last for. The last time all the mirrors had been allowed to the real side was during that ball. She hopes this one lasts for a while-- what is Dave doing???

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" And she decides to grab him anyway. Not to lead him like normal, but to make sure he doesn't fall and break his face.

[knightinreverse]

"Yep."

Dave is trying not to fall and kill himself. His face is saved from being broken, and sighs.

"Yeah, I'm good. Just clumsy like you wouldn't believe. S'why your mirror doesn't normally leave me for long."

[ironlass]

"Ooooh." She walks him to where he pointed and they get seated with minimul falling and breaking of anything.

"The I will pretend to be her for now!" And then she realizes how silly that sounds. "..Who is actually just me, but not me."

The klutziest Strider. It is Mirror Dave.

"Thanks, I think I'll take that kind offer. It'll save me from breakin' anythin' else."
