the pictures show up fine. just a thought, but have you tried using addi needles? my mom switched a long time ago and says they're way easier to use. oh and my first thought when I saw this post was something along the lines of "is kelsey working on a fit robot slave?"
not sure what addi needles are- I got my needles from my grandma, they're pretty standard, i think. I'll keep my eye out for them though.... and the dress form, though exceptionally well built, is not automated. Though if i was going to build a robot slave, it'd obviously be in my own likeness. :)
damn it, I added a link to what some addi needles are. They're essentially two needles connected at the ends via nylon cord. They're good for making socks or tubular creations.
I too thought it was a dress to begin with, my mom made one once out of paper maché. anyway, If you'd read my former comment again I was saying it was in your likeness.
you mean like circular needles? I HAVE heard they're faster and 'easier', but I bought some circular ones a while ago and I don't really like them. I like to have the needles unbendy beause i tend to use my whole hand when i knit. I knit weird though. Also, I don't really care about speed - the knitting is just an excuse to watch copious amounts of TV without feeling guilty about not "doing anything" for hours at a time. Especially since my friend meghan, despite initial resistance on my part, has gotten me addicted to buffy.
Why is my sister so much cooler than I am. Really, now. Really.
Nice sweater though! I plan to re-take up knitting after IB exams (which are in less than two days augh) but my knitting tends to be a bit lumpier and more malformed. Yay!
