Yeah, so I had probation today. It went pretty well. My officer and I discussed my fine status and I also got paperwork to take to the NJ Dept. Of Labor office. They specialize in helping probationers find employment, apparently. Hey, my tax dollars pay for it anyway. Or at least they did over the summer and last semester. Why do we have to be self-aware? Why can't we be like our earliest tetrapod ancestors. Shuffling about, eating whatever wiggles close enough to our mouths. Our only existential worries the simple desire for self-preservation. Eat, sleep, reproduce, die. Life would be so much simpler.

I've lived my life, since the age of 12 or 13, through other's eyes. When I was in elementary school, I was always an outcast. The smart, wierd kid that no one really liked.
