Biking to work
My van has been kaput for the last week and change, probably because of a failed starter, so I've been biking to work for a little while now. I'm really starting to enjoy the ride to and from work. I'm commuting from S. Philadelphia to Cherry Hill via bike and PATCO and it's wonderful. I get a good workout and get to feel the beautiful summery air ( Read more... ) -

It took nearly an extra week after activation of our line for Verizon to get our DSL working. But, finally they did. The techs correctly connected the line at the street and we now have service at least. The damn software gets stuck 'searching for and downloading updates' though. Fun. Kooza
My parents took my spouse and i to Cirque de Soleil's production of Kooza last night for my birthday. It was unbelievably awesome. Beautiful costuming and music interspersed with comical interludes and highlighted with incredible acrobatics. Yeah, so here we go. First things first, I went to go register for classes today, and I find out that I can't take Chemistry because I haven't taken the prerequisite course. Yeah, so everything is looking up. I have an interview tomorrow with CVS. That should go fine, I'll be going back to work in my old stomping ground. God I hate South Street, but it's so much easier to loathe when you work there. School's doing fine, I finally got my Biology average up to an A. Now, I'm ranked 4th in the class.
