There is a park in Cincinnati across from the Krohn Conservatory that plants thousands of them.
They are beautiful enough to give pause and make one humble.
That is the awesome & amazing power of daffodils.

The daffodils at Shimoda had a wonderful fragrance. We picked them on a hillside behind a ryokan to use for flower arrangements, but it was especially lovely to see them as tiny yellow specks on the hills by the seaside.

I lived at a place for awhile that grew daffodils. I'd pick one every now-and-again and float it in a drinking glass by my bedside so I could watch it while I fell asleep and see it when I first woke up.

Here's a wiki on Krohn Conservatory. It's about 20 minutes from where I live.

Here's some photos I Googled that someone took at Krohn:

That floral clock in the second photograph? That is the hillside where the daffodils bloom.
Also, each spring they do a lovely butterfly exhibit, with hundreds of free-flying butterflies that you can walk amongst. The butterflies especially like you if you carry a slice of orange. They'll land on your hand to drink the juice!
