Back to longer days...

...oooh...lots of work stuff to discuss - but the main thing is that my hours have increased again because...TA DA! It's that time of year again. More on the work stuff later when I'm at home - if I have time before the next two hours of 24. Our third family addiction. We're hoping that Lost improves - we were all disappointed in the six-eppy ( Read more... )

Teh Mini and I got to meet him and chat briefly at DragonCon. I had a Sulu crush as an early teen (which I didn't share, because that would be too stalker-y). He's a gentleman and really puts words into action regarding his beliefs and causes. My sister Mary the Trekkie is way jealous!

What I find amusing about The Sulu (TM) is that he can fit in anywhere. Classy and charming in public, and completely off his head hilariously disturbing on Stern.

Sugé!!!!

Lollerskates on the Sulu crush (fear no shame, he was a total hottie!) and I too am *extremely* excited to see him on Heroes. It's jsut too perfect, ya know?

We not have the new 24s on our Tivo... only time will tell if we watch them sort of when they're aired or do what we've done the last 3 seasons: speed through them right before the start of the next season (we watched the last episode of season 5 last night (though I still have the last 32 minutes to watch (I'm sorry, i needed sleep!))). I'll let you know ;-)

PS, Dan picked up from Claire's this week and it was actually kinda disappointing! I think they're quality goes down when it's take-out. Fooey. On the bright side, I've been baking cakes out of the Claire's cookbook to great results. Huzzah!

A Hero of the 1960's and a Hero of the 21st Century! Yes, perfecto!

24 rocked. Seriously. And, OMG Alexander Siddig. Alexander Siddig! And Kal Penn, too, who is just amazing. I just found out that Alexander Siddig is Malcolm McDowell's nephew. Cool factor increases.

I think Claire's is always better fresh. We're going to be there during the Nine Days, so I guess we'll be eating quite a lot of it, because I can't see my dad-in-law doing the vegetarian thing for that period of time!

I, too, have hopes that 'Lost' will pick up. I'm afraid that the love and devotion I used to lavish on this show has been transfered to 'Heroes' and 'Battlestar Galactica'. Which you MUST start watching!

Yes, I have to get Season 1. We don't have cable, so no live BSG for us.
