I've been so far away from LJ. What have I been doing? Oh...working extra during tax season, although not as much as before. Why? Leah had a couple of bouts with strep and flu, and I also got sick. My jaw went out of socket all by itself, and I spent four months in physical therapy with an injured hip (how did I injure it? I have no clue! I ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to hear about all of your unusual injuries but am totally thrilled to hear that you've recooperated and are feelin' groovy. I have missed you these past weeks and hope to see you around a bit more. Will you be up around these parts any time soon? I have an idea brewing about trying to get down to hotlanta for dragoncon, so perhaps, if that happens, we can chill on your turf for once ;-) Please say hi to the fam for me and Dan.

We're driving up in mid-July (including Rudy, of course) - just in time for the Nine Days. Smart. But we chose that time because Leah is going to camp in the Poconos. She starts on the 26th of July. So we're planning to be in CT by the afternoon of July 17, and we'll leave after we drop her off at the camp bus in Brooklyn. She wants to take the bus so she can meet some girls on the drive from Brooklyn to Dingman's Ferry. And...you in Hotlanta? Woo boy howdy! Best to Dan...and Good Shabbos to you both!
