An early spring?

The east cost has a snowpocalypse, but out here is anything but. The cherry tree in the front yard is starting to bloom. The lawn needs mowing. It's not even halfway through feb yet!

Of course, the warm weather out here is one of the reasons it's so bad back east.

Our bulbs started popping up in December because of two warm days. (I put them in in October.) Right now they're paying for it by being quite utterly buried.

Damn that west coast groundhog anyways!

Well, my Build-a-Bear Groundhog, Gibson, didn't see his shadow on Groundhog's day, so a nice, mild end to winter isn't a surprise to me.

Yes, I'm weird. ;)

I don't care what the weather is doing...the lawn does NOT ever get mowed until after NWC. Or Easter, whichever is later. :-)

I usually mow the lawn the Thursday of the con, while finishing up packing (although some stuff will already be in the room, put there during move-in).
