A nice idea that won't make a bit of difference

This is mostly for people back on the east coast- anyone planning on going to the Stewart/Colbert rally at the end of the month? As I tend to live by the concept of "can't we all just get along?", the idea of a rally dedicated to NOT being angry and upset about things is attractive. Not to mention that Stewart and Colbert are two of my favorite

We're thinking about going; it would be a shame to miss it, being so close by and all. I imagine the Metro system is going to collapse under the weight of the unexpected crowds, however.

I'm going, but ditto Sue's concerns about the Metro. I ended up caught in the traffic flowing out from last week's union rally on the way to a roller derby bout at the Armory, and that was just ridiculous.

Heard about that one. Also would have been nice to attend, although I doubt they told as many jokes as this one will have.
