Reading on those Nook/Kindle things is so much easier that it's opened my world to books again!

So when I got my kindle I promptly filled it with fanfic.

I read a lot of fanfic on my regular comp... I'm gonna try to read some regular fiction. I'm so glad I finally had the opportunity to do this for myself. I love reading and miss it, but with my back, (needing to shift around so often) and my eyes, it's gotten difficult.

This should help with at least part of that.

i played with it a whole bunch today and yeah, i really like it. now i just have to load all the books i've downloaded, tht are on my computer onto it. I'll do that tomorrow.

I have a Kindle - same difference - and I love it. I can always have a book with me, wherever I go, and when I travel, I don't have to pack a suitcase with clothes and another with reading material. Very cool. FanSee

I had pretty much decided on the kindle, but then two things happened. I knew i'd have to pay 20 bucks not to have the ads. they'd piss me off but more importantly, i got these two credits at walmart where they sell the nook but NOT the kindle, so since it is, as you said "same difference" i bought the one that oly cost me 66 bucks out of pocket.

I'm gonna have to get some book icons. I'll probably leave little thumbs up or down posts to the books i read, but i doubt if it'll be a lot of high brow stuff, or new releases, I read what i find interesting and entertaining, I rarely buy books when they first come out, there are no authors for whom i clamor anymore.
