My reason for updating is twofold. First off, it's a journalism assignment that I do some kind of blogging. Secondly, the Pope's death inspired me to do some poetry writting. Now, yes, this may be a bit one sided, but I have a hard time being balanced on the issue of that particular Pope

i just recently read that the pope was "one of the greatest martyrs of all time." there are so many things wrong with that... i take issue with the words greatest, martyrs, and all.

hey kiddo,
i completely know where u are coming from with feeling hurt by jpII but at the same time he really has done many more great things. he may have felt that homosexuality was wrong and i for one at times felt ashamed to call myself a catholic, but when u look at the greater view of what all he has done, he really was a great man and there is reasoning behind why he is going to be remembered at John Paul The Great.
