The weather this morning is my favorite: overcast, not too cold, not too gloomy and lightly drizzling. Not quite Spring, but things are definitely starting to turn green. If I had a forest, I would go hiking.

I've been sleeping as much or more than waking this week. Went to the doctor once, to make sure my liver wasn't enlarged, which it doesn't seem to be. Various weird abdomen feelings/pains. Almost half way to day 14, a few days after which I should feel back to normal, and if I don't I get to have more blood tests and possibly an ultrasound to see ( Read more... )

I saw a great aunt and uncle today I hadn't seen since I was 3 or 4. Heard about numerous relatives, and Finland (where much of my dad's family is from). Finland is actually really cool.. I'm going to go there sometime. Said aunt and uncle are 88, and 87 years old, which is pretty crazy. They still travel around the US a bunch. The only somewhat ( Read more... )

Public transportation: Good for the environment, good for people without cars.

Bad for my mental health. Few normal people ride the bus in Centralia.

Redesigned the website. I’m the most pleased with this revision than with any previous one. The angsty feel of the last design combined with the inability to post large photographs turned me off. I had tried to combined blog and photo-journal and failed. So, they’re separate again ( Read more... )
