Poor doggie...yay for your DS taking care of her. It would break my heart if I found a dog all scared, hurt and wet like that.

Everyone was shocked that she was able to be seen so quickly - DS said that he called and the receptionist said "We've had the phone ringing off the hook all day - hold on, the doctor's just finished up. Can you be here in 5 minutes?" Yes, yes he could. Her nails were down to the quick in some places, so they treated that and cleaned her up. No chip or tags; they took her information and didn't charge DS for anything, even though he offered.
Doggo is now napping under his desk on some blankets and will go home with the concierge, who's been thinking about adopting a pup for a while; DS thinks it's fated, but has made entries on Pawboost and filed a "found pet" report with the county's animal services department.

It smells so good!
Grenadine is really fun to make - it's so red when you're done. Pour it into a Weck bottle and clamp the lid on, now you're getting alchemical.

Mmmm, cinnamon. I'm not crazy about Red Hots but I do love cinnamon in just about any form of baking. It's a flavor right up there with chocolate for me.

If I put this stuff into a cocktail, it's going to take on the alcohol and win. I might try it as a sweetener for the scratch hot cocoa.
