This morning a trailer was parked in front of the building, taking up two spaces; something is being built in the flat above us. P. has suggested perhaps a new trapeze, as they have broken the old one, or a reinforced floor for clogging practice. :D

No trailer today, but it's early yet . . . .

The books are sweet reads, we both like them a lot, but - people get Seattle's geography wrong all the time, and tend to miss things like pad thai and pho are more popular than pizza, and Viet and Tagalog are the most commonly spoken languages after English and Spanish. (They also gloss over the unhoused encampments, the tendency of local LEOs to choose violence as a first response with folks who aren't white, the ongoing battle with Boston and Los Angeles for "Worst Traffic in the US" -)

I mean, they're meant to be cozy mysteries, but using Ireland as a setting without doing more than cursory research makes H. want to bite, and as these are her own stompin' grounds - well, I might be learning new cuss words in Gaeilge!
