Where else would you out a sugar spoon but with the steak knives? LOL
I'm glad you found it!

I have lovely chats with our postal carrier. He's been on our route for at least 15 years.

P. suggested that I might have already wrapped up the flatware to put on the truck and tucked into the other holder, but why wouldn't I have put it with the other spoons?

T. is lovely and her girls are a delight. I must remember to put something out for her at Christmas.

This is very much the sort of place where "standing at the door chatting for 10 minutes after getting a signature on a delivery" is considered quite reasonable.

If nothing else, it tells you how often we've had steak in the last year . . . .

I put things somewhere 'logical' all the time (and then can't find them LOL!)

DS said that it was an odd place to put a spoon, and I agree with him. *g*

Oh how funny! Things get all upended, sometimes quite literally, when you move.

It was the only thing that was "lost" from the move, and I was really quite sad about it!

Well of course that's where it would be...

Like me finding the bag of clothes pegs, almost 5 years after we moved here, in a box with some bottles of booze that were actually D-d's from about 10 years ago - and I hadn't even, really, realised they had moved house with us!

Obviously, I should have checked there first!

Ah, the legendary clothes peg bag! "D-d, come and fetch your hooch - oh, wait!" :D

I have so many clothes pegs now! I use them to fasten the outdoor lights to the bushes at Christmas and it only seems to take about 1/3 of the total!
