I'd just like it to be known that my girlfriend is the coolest person in the world. She has just become one of four people from two different campuses at her college to win a scholarship that will pay for her tuition when she transfers up to Northern Arizona University to complete her BA or BS. Holy crap. That's huge!

I feel as though a vast, dark shadow has passed and the sun is going to shine again. Not only am I grateful for Obama becoming the next president, but I'm also thankful for a few more Dems in control. I'm disappointed in the results for Prop 8 in CA, but I am thankful that CT is now allowing gay marriage alongside MA. Two states down, 48 to go

I'm so excited! I'm getting Lasik surgery on Friday! Yipee! No more stabbing myself in the eye with the mascara brush! Whoo-hoo!

I've been battling with anxiety recently. So much so that I had to go to the doctor to prescribe something for anxiety attacks. Sarah Palin scares me. She's an NRA member, anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage and has barely had less than 2 years experience as a governor. That's enough for me.
