So I should be in grad school. Today would have been the first day of orientation. Granted I will be there next year. But what about the meantime. I am searching for jobs, sending resumes and not getting responses back. I mean at least let me know if you've gotten my resume or not. IT is honestly the most demoralizing thing in the world...to know

In regards to the job searching, my dad says that the people he hires are the people that do follow up phone calls, or even better, actually come in after having turned in applications. Persistance shows that you really want the job. That's my 2 cents.
Can't wait to see you in October. The night you stay at our place (let us know which night that is), we'll have a huge party for you! :)

I'm glad you're coming back to visit in October...it'll be good for you (and all of us). As for looking for jobs, don't worry too much about it. Just make sure you aren't going for jobs half-heartedly. Employers can tell if you don't really want the job, even if only by your resume. As Sarah and many others know, I'm a hard a** when it comes to hiring. I look for people who really want the position because it shows they're motivated and will probably strive for excellence.
