Julia and Jessica stopped by my place tonight to so we could try to get the water heater fixed together. While sitting with Yuli, Jackie, and Yuli's dad watching her mom graduate from dental assisting school last night, it reminded me how much I love Yuli's family and the wonderful friends that I have. While cleaning my room yesterday, I came across my Nike Marathon bag filled with all the samples and stuff I got after finishing the marathon. I checked the balance on the jamba juice card and I got the one loaded with $300! Sweet! Makes up for the lack of jamba during the marathon!

Today we woke up early and had breakfast at a cute little cafe in downtown Mt. View. I found a new place to walk, a natural preserve, surrounded by marshes filled with more ducks and geese than I have ever seen in one place. God is always there for me when I least expect it. What started off as a horrible summer has developed into one of the best summers in my life. Though there is a lot of work to be done in the office since I'm the only College Ten advisor, it doesn't matter. Orientation has been going well. I thought taking on College Ten by myself would be extremely difficult, but I suppose my work ethic was prepared for this.
