I HAVE A JOB!!!! I sent a resume to this non-profit on Tuesday morning, I got a call from them Tuesday afternoon, I had an interview Wednesday at 1 and by 3 I was signing papers. Whoa! Congratulations Praveena! Don't you love it when you get hired on the spot and it's something that you actually want to do! I'm jealous...I want to play with kids and get paid for it! Anyhow, congrats again! I knew you'd find a job that was perfect for you eventually :)

Congrats! My best friend has a job much like that in Oakland. She works with impoverished girls. She loves the job, so I imagine you will too. It has been very rewarding for her. And just think, you are actually helping to change this country, which is pretty important!!! I hope you LOVE it!

that sounds like the kids in the area of the south bronx where i'm student teaching right now. granted, i'm doing high school, but the kids are GREAT at that age, so i'm SURE they younger ones will be awesome! i'm so excited for you!!!!!!!!!! =D

It's strange, starting classes and you not being in one of my psych classes (and of course, my first class of the day is in Merrill 102 - our favorite classroom!). I miss you! Can't wait to see you in October though and again in December when I come visit! :)
