my bicycle is magic. it wrinkles montreal under its slender tires, and propels me down streets i can't pronounce. my sore thighs bear witness to the distance traversed in days, cleverly disguised as instants. my bicycle is a time traveller.

its playlists with 45 songs and readings about pirates and extended cellphone conversations cups of tea and bowling. its movies and slumber parties. letters from NTS essays and iambic pentametre. fingers freezing the cold and craig's list for two-person apartments. naps and lectures.
