I love bookplates. It turns out Yale University has a collection of approximately 1 million (seriously!), and some are currently on display. One of the earliest plates dates from the fifteenth century. AWESOME

I'm smiling about the art teacher. Crushes can be fun despite the outcome and it's always nice to have someone lovely to look at, if nothing else. (She says, considering her kind and smart and alas-not-Daniel-Day-Lewis-lookalike coworkers...) It sounds odd in my head to say I hope he's straight, but you know, I do. *g* ::good vibes::
