Whew! I wasn't sure what neighborhood you were in these days, but I thought you were relatively near the airport and was worried. Glad to hear of your luck.
This is also the day I start to steal the Peeps and Cadbury Eggs out of my child's basket one at a time so she doesn't notice.
This, of course, depends on her counting and observational skills. ;)
I was JUST not five minutes ago saying we hadn't heard from C. yet and I was getting worried. Whew. So glad you and yours and your stuff are all okay! Must say, I was not encouraged to find out the weather.com headline today was "A Very Bad Week Ahead." Wasn't that last week?!
Thanks for checking in! I was (like others) starting to worry.
And this: few weeks ago I lost an enormous limb out of a tree in my front yard that, in another miraculous moment, did not hit my neighbor's roof, did not hit my roof, and landed *in between* the flowers in my front bed, with the thickest diameter end coming to rest about 5 inches from the house. I should have run out to buy lotto tickets right then while my luck was so good!
