It looks like a cool idea, Jim Kviezel, or however you spell it, would make a cool alien. Have you ever seen that movie he did with Jennifer Lopez? He was really good in that.
Was he supposed to be? Is he going to be in all Viking movies now? lol, I saw Pathfinder, I couldn't even sit through the whole thing, not even to see his but. Poor Karl.
Yes, he was. He was slated for two vikings movies back to back a year or so ago, when it was all still up in the air, I guess. Here's an example. I remember comments about that being thrown in... why two viking movies, etc. And then Caviezel (not sure how you spell the damn thing either ) was the one listed and no more mention of Urban.
UGO: Weren't you also in talks to play the lead in Outlander at one point?
KARL: What happened was, before Pathfinder was made I was in negotiations to do Outlander and for whatever reason they stalled the development of that film, so I went around looking for another project. It was just a pure coincidence that the project I found also had Viking elements in it and I think that Pathfinder is more of an Indian orientated film where the Vikings are an element in it. Outlander is 100% a Viking film, and a Viking - alien film. Obviously, I couldn't do two Viking pictures. I think we all agree that after doing one Viking picture, the next film that you do should not be another Viking picture.
