The winged hobbits have grown claws and are angry... Quorin's remains are scattered around the room but I pegged the main hobbit responsible for Quorin's death really good. Personally I'd take off it's head to make sure. I've never like taking chances with killing things. If they can come back to life they will and you'll spend the next fifty years wonder why you hadn't cut off the head, rip out the heart and burned the corpse instead of being confident that 21 odd stabbings would be enough... er.. yeah....nevermind.
