Observation Week WIN!
This week was my observation week in the elementary school that I will be teaching with. When doing your first round of student teaching you do a week of observation, followed by the last week of school and finals. After all of that, then you get to do your month of student teaching. This years Oscars were very shiny. It was all glamorous despite the cutbacks they made. But honestly, the best part was Hugh Jackman. Not only is he hot. He's funny. And charming. RIP Dumas Walker
My Uncle's cat passed away late last night. She was rather unique and shall be missed. I will copy the obituary out that he posted on facebook, it is rather epic and speaks to their unique relationship, the kind that can only happen between a stand up comic and a bitchy old alley cat.( Dumas the Cat Deceased February 9, 2009 ) -
Addictions aren't cool
This past week has reawoken my awareness of the fact that I am completely and utterly addicted to coffee. It's borderline unhealthy. You see, Monday it turns out that we were out of coffee and wouldn't be able to get any until the end of the week. My life is in a state of juxtaposition
Ok, I know it sounds like I am on a bit of an emotional roller coaster right now. But that is because I am! I'm on an upswing though, so I am going to ride it for all it's worth. Ok, so I'm dying. I'm being buried under the course load. I thought I was doing so good! But things seem to change at the drop of a hat all the time. Like I thought I would have all weekend to do my test item construction assignment, then I had to get it done for last Thursday. Then I thought that we were good. So I've managed to go beyond digging myself out of the hole that I had fallen in. I'm ahead in all my assignments. All I have to do is catch up on my readings and study for my midterms.
