Also Blackberry's have a tendency to go screwy whenever you change software around- at least in my workplace they do.

hmmm... not entirely sure, but most mobile phones come bundled with a "PC Suite" these days... as far as I can figure [not having installed the CD], it's a little app that allows the phone's internal organiser/calendar to synchronise with the PC's version - usually rigged to synch with Outlook anyway.

Not exactly FruitFu, but not a grand-per-month either.
