What is one to do with a jar of Peanut Satay Sauce ....... ?

I realise this is a fairly random question to be throwing out to LJ land but I bought a jar of peanut satay sauce a wee while ago and I keep thinking that I'll "use it later". But later isn't getting any sooner and I realise that it is in part because I have no idea what to do with it, other than skewer some meat on a stick, cook it and then dip ( Read more... )

You could use it to cook a curry with - cook some veggies, add the sauce and then add some stock (if needed) for consistency. Or add coconut milk to thin it out a bit.

Yeah, that's probably what I'd do with it. Or use it as base for a marinade, adding a bit of oil to thin it. and then marinade veggies, chicken, tofu, watever and roast em?

I'd probably do something simple like coat some chicken breasts in it and then bake them while making a contrasting vegetable side and some noodles or rice.

All ideas so far sound excellent, thank you. friend_of_tofu, I am assuming that you mean use Tofu or Quorn or something, how would you see the rest of the casserole building? I have to admit that my casserole-fu is weak.
