npr.  usually at 5 am on my way to work.  also, around 5-ish pm (if i worked a mid-shift) on my way home.
my local tv news stations have such a right slant, that it pisses me off.  i can't watch if for any lengthy amount of time.

i'll get news from the internet occasionally, but it's not my main news source.

easy.  the little mermaid.  i think i easily identified with wanting 'a whole new world'.

i used to slide down the stairs with my legs in a pillowcase, pretending i was a mermaid.  i also tried to dolphin kick when swimming (i wasn't very good at it).  plus, both of our names start with a vowel.

in some ways i'm very much still a little girl. i grew up in shitty household, wanting to have any other family but mine.
i still want to live in a fairy tale castle.  it should be made of stone, have a spinning wheel in one tower, doesn't NEED a moat, but that would be nice.  also, while i'm there, i'll be living happily ever after.

we have a landline because it's bundled with our internet/satellite tv.  also, i can be pretty antisocial.  i screen all numbers that i don't recognize, and let the machine (machine voice, not mine) get it.  if they don't leave a message, it's not important enough for me to call back.

i hate tellemarketers.
