My first couple days home I was a whirlwind -- apartment hunting, doing laundry, seeing friends, I even went to a Yankee game. Jet lag was irrelevant, my schedule had been so screwed up the week before that it was no problem. So, it's my last day in Paris.
Don't have much else to offer, really.
Susannah won't let me go to bed before 3.

I didn't crash the rental car!
I turned in the rental car today, 40 minutes late, unharmed. OK, maybe one tiny scratch from a tree branch when a truck was coming at me on a not quite two lane road, and the damn thing was filthy, but UNCRASHED. Or something like that. It's this insane Byzantine fortress on a large rock right off the coast. I guess technically it's mainland, or maybe not anymore cause the natural causeway fell. I can't figure out how to get information on shipping categories and rates. Once again the French website culture has defeated me. Can I ship papers at book rate? Can I ship cds? How much will it be? Sigh.
Help.
Also, where do I get boxes?
