While I'm slowly working on the new Heroes fic, I thought I'd devote a post to this meme questionnaire about erotic fanfic. Got this from stormwreath .

Apropos of this, the new Heroes story probably won't go beyond an "R" rating... but it will spin off a couple of sequels that certainly will. :-)

But who knows what sort of things went on at Edwardian garden parties behind the shrubbery, hmm? :-)

That's odd, as an avid Buffy/Faith fan I haven't seen a lot of fics I would classify as "hatesex" amongst B/F stories. It's definitely a tricky pairing to write well, while still keeping the two protagonists in character, but I can think of a maybe ten or so authors that pull it off consistently without any hatesex being involved. That being said, there are probably thousands of stories out there with that pairing, so I can't say that I've read even a significant percentage of them ( ... )

I'll admit I'm not that familiar with B/F fic... most of the stuff I ran into when first looking into it was hatesex. I should probably take a closer look at the fic that's out there.

I hate it when an author has an obvious agenda regarding a character they don't like. While I like some Buffyverse characters more than others, they are all part of the same great story and I certainly don't hate any of them.

My love for Satsu (and Batsu) is what started me writing Buffy fic in the first place, so I certainly feel protective of her. :-)

I have never written Faith at all in any of my stories. I should probably rectify that soon. I don't know that I want to pair her up with Buffy, but maybe somebody else. Lara Croft might make an interesting choice...

Well, I can certainly provide a few suggestions if your reading ever takes you in the direction of Buffy/Faith.

Anyways, one thing that kind of amuses me is how I haven't read many Willow/Tara stories, despite how much I enjoyed watching their relationship develop on BtVS. It seems to be a habit of mine that when a television show or a video game finally gives me a canon femslash pairing, I inevitably find a noncanon pairing that interests me more. I guess I can never be satisfied...

My knowledge of Tomb Raider is limited, but I would definitely like to that pairing sometime, especially if it's anywhere near as good as "Down the Well". But regardless, I really dig the Batsu stories. Mostly because I love Satsu to bits, and I always appreciate a story where she's written in character, even an angsty one (though of course, I prefer to see her happy). You've been doing an admirable job of protecting her, I'd say :)

Thanks. :-) I'm not done with her yet. I really should write another Batsu story in the interval before season 9, having them deal with the Angel thing.

I would appreciate any Buffy/Faith recs.

I know what you mean about canon pairings. I also tend to have less interest in them. Buffy/Satsu is a canon pairing but not a canon relationship, so they're fertile ground. My favorite relationships, and the ones I write most about, are all non-canon ( ... )
