Yup, it's finally here, the long awaited Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

One of the most depressing and twisted (as in plot) movies I've ever seen.

See it, if you haven't.

I think the only that it has going for it is that it's really entertaining.

On Sunday I was reading Numbers 21-25 and that portion is mostly about Balaam and how King Balak of Moab tries to get him to curse Israel, but God tells Balaam not to curse them because they are a blessed people (definitely the short version). Eating peanut butter with a spoon is so much fun! And tasty!

I was making my luminaria bags for Relay for Life and as I was making the one for my Grandma T.O., I started to think about her and the amazing woman she was (she died on Easter 4 years ago). I miss her so much, but there is not one bad memory. And this poem came to my mind (it's one of my favorites and it reminds me of her in so many way!).

A friend of mine passed away on Saturday. I found out today. She was an amazing Christian woman who touched the lives of so many people. She is a inspiration to me and an example of how I want to live my life.
