omg we saw this when it was in Boston - it was fantastic, but all the extra minor characters confused the fuck out of me for about half the time.

I totally forgot to read the Wikipedia summary of Macbeth before I saw it. But apparently they included optional characters like Hecate.

I'm glad you got a chance to see it - we only managed to after they extended the run for a few extra months.

Did they have the non-Macbeth, Hitchcock-ian side characters thrown in the New York production? We were flipping through the program afterwards and realized there was a lot of non-Shakespeare characters running around.

There was definitely a Hecate when we went, though. She grabbed Tuan and led him into a big creepy room containing only an old-fashioned phone. It rang and Hecate told him to pick it up. On the other line, he heard a man shouting "Don't you EVER talk to her again! Do you hear me???"

If you guys can scrape together the cash (or credit) you should see it. Especially Scott, because I think it's important for gaming.

I'm not sure about Ali... all the characters are jerks.

We went on a Friday, so maybe that was more crowded? But I think most shows sell out.
