I finally talked to my boss. Turns out the cute boy does want to pick me, and wants to give me a 25% raise.

I love vacation.

I have to go home tomorrow and I am already dreading the cold weather. And the whole "going back to work" thing. It's been amazing here in Charleston for the past week. I really love it here. I am going to have to move here someday. Maybe sooner rather than later.

It's been snowing all day. I am so excited. We never get snow in December. It makes me feel all Christmasy inside. And Chanukahy. (I'm an equal opportunity celebrator.)

I went to my dad's last night to celebrate the first night of Chanukah with my sister. She told me, "Santa is bringing me a present today because it is the first night of Chanukah

    I totally can't compete with Caitlin's song/poem/spaz attack. BUT I can still wish CJ a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today is my one year anniversary at my job. It's weirding me out. Also the thought that I will definitely be here next year to celebrate year 2 is kind of driving me crazy.  There is nothing I can do about it, but it is still just a little bit sad. I got my copy of Entertainment Weekly in the mail yesterday. I was pleased to see the cover featuring the words "Hollywood on Strike!" in big letters. I like that other forms of media are supporting the writers. Especially considering that at a certain point this strike will start effecting magazines like EW, I would presume anyway ( Read more... )

I am in charge of all things Cranberry this year at Thanksgiving. I wish that could be as easy as sliding that cranberry jelly out of the can and dumping it on a plate. While the scary cranberry jelly is a tradition in our family - I also must make something that involves real cranberries.

Any suggestions?
